  • Automatic daily, weekly and monthly reports — no manual tallying
  • A visible streak keeps consistency front and center
  • Built-in Pomodoro timer for focused work sessions

Frequently asked questions
Is The Daily Board free to use?

Yes. Creating an account, building your schedule, logging sessions, and generating reports are all free.

Who is this for?

Anyone managing a daily routine around study or work — students, UPSC and competitive exam aspirants, teachers, coaching institutes, officers, working professionals, or anyone who wants a simple daily structure.

Do I need to be tech-savvy to use it?

No. If you can fill a form and tick a checkbox, you can use The Daily Board. It's built to be simpler than a spreadsheet.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your schedule, logs and notes are stored against your own login and are not visible to other users or shared with third parties.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes, the board is fully responsive and works in any mobile browser — no app install required.

Can I use it without an internet connection?

You need internet to log in and sync. Once loaded, quick actions keep working briefly offline and sync again once you're back online, but it isn't designed as a fully offline app.

What happens if I switch devices?

Log in with the same account on any device and your schedule, logs and reports carry over automatically.

Can I customize my daily schedule?

Yes — use "Setup Schedule" to build your own blocks from scratch, in any order, with your own titles and times.

What if my routine changes over time?

Open the schedule builder any time to add, edit, reorder or remove blocks. Your past logged days stay exactly as they were.

How is this different from a notebook or diary?

A notebook can't calculate your streak, total hours, or how consistent you've been over a month. The Daily Board does that automatically.

How is this different from Excel or Google Sheets?

You could build something similar in Excel, but it takes ongoing manual formulas and upkeep. The Daily Board does the tracking and reporting for you — and still lets you export to Excel whenever you want.

Does it replace Google Calendar?

Not quite — it's less about appointments and more about a repeating daily routine, session logging and progress reports. Many people use both.

What kind of reports do I get?

Daily, weekly and monthly views: hours studied, adherence percentage, subject-wise breakdown, and a consistency calendar.

Can I export my data?

Yes — export your full history (sessions, schedule, journal notes) to an .xlsx file any time from the Excel & Sync tab.

Can I import data from Excel?

Yes, using the same file format as the export, so you can restore or move your data.

Is there a Pomodoro or focus timer?

Yes — a full-screen Pomodoro timer with focus and break modes is built in, no separate app needed.

How does the streak work?

Your streak counts consecutive days with at least one logged study session, so you can see consistency at a glance.

Can teachers or coaching institutes manage multiple students?

Right now, each person tracks their own day on their own account — there's no shared institute dashboard yet. Teachers are welcome to use it personally and have students create their own accounts.

What if I forget my password or want to delete my data?

Use "Forgot password?" on the login screen to reset it. To wipe your data, use Reset All Data in Excel & Sync, or email us to request full account deletion.

About The Daily Board
Built by one person trying to solve one real problem.

Our story

The Daily Board started as a personal tool to juggle a full-time teaching job alongside UPSC exam preparation — one page to hold the schedule, the study log, and the reflection that a notebook and a spreadsheet couldn't hold together. It grew into something anyone with a similar daily-consistency problem could use.

Mission

Make it effortless for students, teachers, officers and professionals to plan their day, log their effort, and see their own consistency — without complicated tools.

Vision

To be the simplest place anyone building toward a big goal — an exam, a career, a habit — comes back to every single day.
